Commemorating the 100-year legacy of Jan Tschichold’s 1926 'Die neue Typographie' manifestos reimagined as an interactive physics-driven kinetic letterpress.
Why I created this today:
Exactly one century ago in 1926, the European avant-garde shattered Victorian ornamentalism with 'The New Typography'—demanding asymmetric clarity, stark geometric contrast, and dynamic elemental tension. For today's site, I built a living kinetic letterpress studio where constructivist grids meet variable font physics. Drag words across dynamic tension axes, manipulate Bauhaus modular glyphs, test kinetic spring dampening, and stamp custom archival poster proofs.
